4. Advising Newsletters and Resource Handout

- will be distributed week of October 10 to all faculty & staff and students living in residence halls
5. Update on Advising Awareness Week
- Advising booths: the AA Council agreed to spend sufficient funds to have the booths be permanent and to be staffed a couple of times per quarter.
- Mary & Krisit will be meeting with Deans' Council, October 3.
- Student Affairs is sponsoring lunch for new faculty, Thurs Oct 27
- 500 extra copies of the schedule from the Student Newsletter will be printed and distributed to the advising centers.
6. Additional Issues
- Class Schedules: the Council expressed concern that the Class Schedules continue to be printed and distributed free to faculty and advising staff. Bonnie offered to draft a position paper.
- Registration Process (e-permits, etc.): send your comments and concerns to Mary, who will share with the Registration & Scheduling Committee.
