Instead of a regular "sit down" meeting on Wednesday, October 24, we are asking members of AdviseNet to collaborate with the Advising Council on these upcoming dates to promote Advising on campus.
We are asking for a commitment of ONE HOUR during either of these dates.
Thursday, October 25: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm - See schedule
Thursday, November 8: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm - See schedule
We will have a beautiful GAZEBO style booth set up on Dexter Lawn on Volunteers will staff the booth and hand out STUDENT RESOURCE INFORMATION.
Volunteers are not expected to be advising experts but will be asked to "direct students" to the various resources. Printed resourse material will be provided at the booth. We will have a student question box at the booth, for students to write down questions that do require advising expertise. We will make sure that these are followed up on.
