Shannon Stephens/Athletics-Academic Advising - Update on Athletics Advising
- Update NCAA Academic Eligibility Requirements for Athletes, including requirement of 12 units per quarter, 2.0 GPA, 36 units per year, 2nd year-40% of degree, 3rd year-60% of degree, 4th year- 80% of degree.
- Athletes are advised with team meetings as well as individual consultation.
- Sample of Letter- athletes to give professors - advance notification of athletic events
- Sample of student athlete progress report students give teachers
